I got MIL today but the form only has my name. My spouse is accompanied on my file but we don’t have medical form for him. Is it normal? Should my spouse also do medical exam?

It might take few days for MIL. But you should call IRCC if you don't receive within 1 week.

I called IRCC an hour ago to enquire about the status on my background and eligibility.

I was able to successfully connect with the agent in 15 mins or so, who was super kind and helpful walking me through all the updates and work done on my paperwork , and let me know that my application is being actively processed by the case processing officer at Ottawa PO.

Not to mention the agent also mentioned that everything is looking good and well within the average processing time and the fact there’s been a lot of work done since last month.

I believe they will start your security once your eligibility is passed. These 2 tend to go hand in hand when it comes to processing!

It totally depends on your VO and the complexity of your cases. If you didn't have ADRs, hopefully soon enough!

I understand Security is last stage and has dependency on Eligibility but since Nov 1st there has been no change in Eligibility status. Even if it is in progress will be good but as per agent, it’s not started which is strange.

Are you a PNP Outland applicant? In that case, I think it might take little more time compared CEC/PNP Inland.

At times it takes a little longer to reflect in your tracker. I'm sure they are already working on your eligibility. Once that's passed security will get initiated! A little more patience my friend and you're almost to the finish line!
