What is your visa office ? And how/where do you see that ?

Visa Office will be mentioned on sponsor approval letter.
Mine did not have one. Lack of visa office usually means Ottawa VO.
Sponsor called IRCC to verify.

And everyone's wait gets longer and longer. All apps will be on hold with the Public Union strike set to start on Wednesday at 12:01 am. IRCC is a part of this union so they are predicting that all processing times will be affected. Hope no one was in a hurry to be reunited with loved ones.

Hello,
I recently submitted PPR but I just found a message that asked me in GCkey to provide “replacement needed” - document type passport. This was apparently sent with the Passport request. But they already have my passport since I submitted it a week ago? Do I still need to send them a scanned copy of my passport and the stamps in it (which was what it asked for in the message)?

PPR: Hopefully tomorrow, Monday 17 Apr 2023, based on the recently-observed pattern of Ottawa VO.

Side story to share:
On Easter Sunday 09 Apr 2023, I (the sponsor) touched down in Canada and went through the airport immigration. My name is so common that I always ended up not getting automatically cleared. Instead, I had to join the queue to talk to an immigration officer (sigh!!).
The officer who attended to me that day went "Oh, so you have an on-going spousal sponsorship application for your partner". Apparently, the officers can see our on-going applications. So I ended up asking him to tell me whatever he could see on the screen and could share with me. LOL, this saved me a phone call to IRCC agents. But he did say "The application is to be approved soon, so there is absolutely nothing to be worry about".

Sadly and disappointedly, no. Haha
They are going on strike soon, I heard. That could be the reason. No other people from Ottawa VO received PPR this week, though.

Surprisingly received Pre-Arrival letter today.

Strike starts tonight.

I also got pre arival on 26th march with everything completed on tracker with copr number. But sadly didnt get anything after that . Hopefully we will get PPR soon.
