September 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

Just received my GCMS notes… these notes are from June 9th…
to give you background… application was filled on Sept 13…
Application reached Sept 18
AOR on Oct 31 and
they started processing Jan 18
I completed my test on Feb 26 and it was marked complete on March 1st… BG was completed before that…
However, LPP has not even been started by the IRCC Kitchener office yet… you call them and they give you the same B***it of 19 month’s processing time…
What a crap are they running in the IRCC… no system… no process, just their wit’s and whimsy’s run the office… it is so frustrating to deal with them… and who say they are not corrupt… they are very much corrupt (the only difference is that instead of money there is a corruption of time in IRCC, and if time = money then they are very much corrupt)
sorry for my Rant but when you see that your file is not even touched in last 3-4 months… and with this special timeline and an extra ordinary treatment of your application… it does frustrate you…

Tracker got updated today and oath ceremony date is July 13. No email invitation yet.
Asking for a friend who will apply for citizenship this month
At some point during his PR status, he stayed outside Canada for more than 6 months (continuously). I remember there’s a rule that you lose your PR or somehow it gets affected if you stayed more than 6 months outside the country? Anyone can provide any insight would be helpful

I thought the same for myself, but later I got LPP and OATH together, so just be patient.Fault in our stars.
We are trying to be, guess there’s no other solution except being patient lol
So I emailed SCR ceremony inbox to ask when can I expect my oath. And they responded back (5:30am in the morning, wondering they working early morning shifts lol) that I have been scheduled for virtual oath for July 13th @1:30pm and will receive NOA a week prior to the ceremony.
Now my confusion is portal still says "ceremony not started" so I am not sure should I ignore that and prep for July 13th or ask them for portal thing too?
