You mean the first screen after logging in? Which lists EE profile (Invitation Received) and then Permanent Residency. It's the Current Status column on that screen I should be looking at?
At the moment it says 'Your action is required' but I guess this is referring to my biometrics appointment? (I got BIL a couple of days ago and booked an appointment for next week)

In my background check it now says - "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.” That's False IP2 right? Once I submit my biometrics, I should get an update, which will be IP1/ first ghost update. And then I just need to keep an eye on my profile to spot GU2 and GU3. Is this correct?

Have your medicals been updated, if yes then you have passed ghost update 1. I don't know about IP 2, not familiar with that.

You should be getting another "application/profile updated" once your biometrics get linked into your account. Since you are pre-biometrics, your security and background haven't started yet I guess.

More than that I would be just speculating.

Yes, I passed my medicals.
IP2 is from what I gathered just another name for ghost update 2.
Let's see what the next few weeks will bring

Called IRCC for an update and received the following:

Medical: Not started
Eligibility: In progress
Security: Not started
Criminality: Passed
Info Sharing: In progress

Last time Agent worked on my file: Oct 5th

Primary Visa Office: CIO (central intake office)
Secondary Visa Office: Ottawa

Application progressing well, just going to take time. Also of help, he updated my current address whilst I was on the phone as we have arrived in Canada since submitting our application.

An update - managed to get through to IRCC again today as had a question about the landing process as we are in Canada as visitors at the moment and got an update on current state:

Medical: Passed
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: Passed
Info Sharing: Passed

So it appears the GU I received on Nov 9th was Info Sharing and Eligibility being passed.

- November 16, 2022: Ghost Update2
