My tracker shows ceremony as completed but application status at the top is still in progress. Why is this? How much time does it take to get the citizenship certificate?

In general, the application status updated to closed when they dispatch the certificate. As per recent post, the time for receiving certificate varies from different oath offices.
It was right there in my online tracker - it read "Congratulations you've been scheduled to attend your citizenship ceremony on November 18, 2022..." Are you looking on the online application tracker?
Hello folks - so I called IRCC today and they picked the call (lucky day!!). I called after a while. I am done with Test and Background as of June, 2022. Although previously when I called, they said my office is Scarborough (As I live in the GTA). Today, they the agent told me that my office is in Vancouver!
Then I asked about the progress or status of my file. She said that the "Language, Prohibition and Physical Presence" seems to be checked and done by the officer. She did not give me a date when that was done but said I should expect to get the Oath soon. However, the tracker is not updated and I also did not receive any ghost updates, did anyone had similar experience, what's the email to reach Vancouver office?

Offices in the West (specifically Winnipeg and sometimes Vancouver) seem to be picking up a lot of slack for Toronto backlogged applicants. It's become very common over the past month and a half to see GTA applicants getting oath invites from non-GTA offices.
If I understand correctly they're saying language, prohibition, and physical are in fact done but the tracker still shows "In Progress" for these three items. Is that correct? If thats the case may be they'll explicitly mark it completed just before sending out the oath invite. Back to back DM and oath invites happens a lot. But you can definitely email them since it's been several months and you filed in Sep 2021. Good luck!
I got my GCMS notes too and though it said that Language, Prohibition and Physical Presence have not yet started my file has been transferred to Vancouver office too though I am located in GTA and got my test invite from SCR office.
Do let me know if you hear anything from Vancouver office.
Thanks a lot, just checked the tracker this morning, seems like Language, Probation and Physical Presence are marked completed now as of Yesterday. Hoping to be scheduled for Oath soon ... god bless!
Yes, I am checking on my online tracker. My oath ceremony says "not started". so I think I will have to wait until it is "In progress", right?
Seeing people are getting Oath invitation from other offices so I called IRCC hoping my application got moved to somewhere else but it's still at Scarborough and it's not moving at all, still at background check pending. It's frustrated to see people are getting something and mine is not moving at all, I dont even know if they even started working on other categories yet or they are waiting to finish the background check first. Anyway, keep waiting everyday I guess.
