Atleast you got the Background Check completed, there are applicants like me who are still waiting for first update after receiving AOR.

True but its very frustrating knowing that your file is just sitting at a processing office and nothing else will happen unless they send it to a local processing office. Hopping things move faster for all of us.
My application has not even reached the local processing office as per GCMS notes. Nothing happened after AOR.

You don't. I "luckily" received a call from the local office telling me they won't process my application urgently because my file "is not as urgent." Not as urgent as what? Nobody knows.
Finally, I got test invite today (see in the tracker) to do the test on May 26. BG check is still in process. Online applicant, AOR Dec 8.
Dear Friend, you seem to be November applicant. However, I applied online on September 27, 2021, AOR date December 15, 2021. Yes, I am a resident of Ontario.

Ahh same here, I also applied online. I'm hoping that our files are just sitting in a queue and once an agent picks them up it'll all move fast. I can't imagine there being that much work on the actual file. Just do the RCMP check, verify all the info, schedule the test, and then the Oat etc... I think it's just the period when the files aren't being even worked on is the slowest. Let's hope it gets moving soon.
It's just unfair that it seems files are being picked at random and out of sequence.
I applied for GCMS notes, hoping they'll provide some insight.
My AOR is DEC 10, and we were pretty much in the similar situation, I should be expecting to receive the invitation next week then. Thanks for the hope. And good luck to your test.
