No update on tracker on oath ceremony

Simultaneously comforting and sad to see someone else waiting 2+ months for oath after everything else was moved to Completed. I've seen this happen for a handful of other Kitchener applicants. Niagara Falls seems to be doing the oath for most people in Kitchener and pretty much anywhere in Ontario outside the GTA, and they do seem to be delayed lately. I'd recommend that you first email the Kitchener office (reply to your test invitation email). If they say that your file has been transferred to Niagara Falls, then you can ask for the Niagara Falls email to follow up with.

Hi everyone

my son applied Sept 21, 2021. Took his test April 6, 2022. Got 2 emails requesting for passport pages June 2 and June 25, so far until now no movement still in progress. Is this a normal timeline? How long from Test-Passport Pages to Oath?

Sept 11th, 2021 and test completed May 1st, 2022. Scarborough office. Nothing since then

September 12th, test completed may 12th, no update since, Scarborough office!

I hope we start getting Oath invitations soon. My file completed a year now and nothing yet happened since background check and test completed.

September 27, Test completed June 15. Other than test, everything else (except oath) in progress. Scarborough office

Passport copy request 8 sept ( i already submitted copies with my online application and now I submitted the same ones again)

any idea people with similar times and request how long after passport request we get all complete and then oath ?

Sep 15. Nothing completed except test.
Sent fp in May.
Requested note July 28, no reply.
So, I will go ahead visiting my parents in Japan in November. It is way overdue…
I have funny feeling that my file won’t move even an inch by that time, anyway! So I am going!

I am on with you. I am unable to understand how they work. There is no set pattern that I can see and specially its unfair with online applicants

Made a terrible mistake by applying through the online portal. Most have got there oath’s done. By the way My application is from May 2022.

I applied for Canadian Citizenship through online exactly 1 year ago (September 6, 2021). My Citizenship test status changed to "Completed" more than 4 months ago. There is no update after that. My processing office is Scarborough.

For applicants whose processing office is Scarborough, how long does it take to get oath invitation after completing the citizenship test? Forum members please share your experience.

By calling IRCC or ATIP GCMS notes.

Finally got an update after completing the test in June. Language skills, presence and prohibitions all marked ad completed. Here's my timeline:

Submitted application: September 26th (single online)
AOR: December 14th
Background check done: June 7th
Test invite: June 10th (From Niagara falls office )
Test completed: June 13th
everything else except ceremony completed: September 6th

Scheduled for oath ceremony on October 5th! Haven't got the email yet though.

How do you know your processing office is in Scarborough? I just got my AOR and I don’t know where my application is? Is there a way to know that?

I got Citizenship test invite from Scarborough office. Usually test and oath both are handled by the same processing office.
