I tried calling IRCC but it just keeps disconnecting. Is there a certain time of day that is advisable? Also which IVR options did you pick?

First hour and the last hour are best time to connect. However you can get connected anytime.

Select 1 to enter UCI
Enter UCI
To say yes its correct press 1
To say no and re enter UCI press 2

After this use the following sequence

11411

Hope this helps

by the way whats the status of your application ? Kindly share

Thank you. I am an online applicant I don’t have access to the old tracker where the decision made is mentioned. I only have accès to the new tracker where everything is completed except oath which is not started.
Congratulations. I am also an online applicant. I was confused about the "Decision Made" section because lots of applicants mentioned it but I did not find that section on my tracker. Thanks for the explanation.

Primary Office is always Sydney, Nova Scotia, where all the citizenship applications are submitted. Once the AOR is generated and sent to the applicants, the application is forwarded to the Secondary Office, which is Scarborough in your Case. Based on the theories from the forum, the secondary office is responsible for holding test and oath ceremonies. Earlier, the Secondary Office was determined on the basis of the location of the applicant (in other words the place where the applicant is residing) as it would be easy for the applicant to visit the centre for the test or the venue for oath ceremony because both the test and oath were in person. Now keeping in mind the different backlog scenarios in different offices, the applications can be forwarded to any processing office (anywhere in Canada) which has a relatively handled backlog situation, irrespective of the location of the applicant, mainly because nowadays citizenship tests and oath ceremonies are held online rather than in person.

Someone shared in the forum, in July 2022 Citizenship Application Thread, that the Primary Office (Sydney, Nova Scotia) checks whether the application is complete or not. Even after forwarding the application to the Secondary Office, the Primary Office handles the elements of Prohibitions, Language, Physical Presence and Background Check.

Thanks for sharing the link. I tried both application number and also UCI. Both time I was redirected to a page which says "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided." But my information was accurate.

Awesome, thanks.

I completed my test and my test status is changed to Completed. Background check completed. The rest are In Progress.

BTW, how do I find my secondary office? My AOR says Sydney, NS.

Hi I submitted fingerprints on June 20, received by RCMP on June 23. Tracker still says waiting on you for fingerprints (4 weeks later). RCMP haven’t replied to emails.

What’s the current processing time to see an update on tracker for fingerprints received?

Anyone?
