Hi, a couple of questions.

1. My wife's status tracker showed a ghost update yesterday (31st Jan). What is the usual group's experience about this? What it means and how long it usually takes to actually reflect anything in the status? We both have tests completed as of now.

2. Is the Oath ceremony nowadays only in-person? Or online? or both options available?

Hi! I asked a few times back in December and January if my info in the spreadsheets could be updated, but I think my request hasn’t been seen. So doing it again:

Also, there is a mention in the oath invitation letter that you can request for change in address to receive the certificate when you will send the signed scanned copy of the oath affirmation after the oath ceremony.

As normal as can be with IRCC.

We (adults) had passport copy requests, but no fingerprint requests and no interview calls. DM was about 3 months after the test. This is Mississauga office.

It definitely already more than 3 months for me. Were your language, physical presence and prohibitions changes only after decision made as someone suggested earlier? How do we figure out which office our application is being processed?

It definitely already more than 3 months for me. Were your language, physical presence and prohibitions changes only after decision made as someone suggested earlier? How do we figure out which office our application is being processed?

Language, physical presence and prohibitions changing to completed is decision made. Decision made is probably an outdated term related to the older ECAS, and probably not relevant anymore.

Your test invite email should be an indication of your office.

I attended the oath ceremony today. Total duration was of 1 hour, 30 minutes each for registration of all participants and the actual oath ceremony.

What happened to Mississauga office? I think they are the second slowest office now after Vancouver or same. Scarborough is doing really good. Mississauga was so fast for inviting exam. But after that it’s totally dead at least for most of the people. Some people are lucky and some people got advantage of urgent processing.

Totally frustrating while I am seeing people from other office are getting Oath ceremony who got test invite after six months of my test.

Three months continuing after getting the decision made. Anyways maybe I paid less money as applications fee ….or paid less tax than other people who got it faster.

@Hot2Cold Please update....Prohibitions, Physical Presence, and Language Skills updated to completed. Only Oath ceremony remains as not started. However, ECAS still shows "In Process".

My mother in law applied for citizenship in September 2020. She is 65 years old. Everything is ‘completed’ except for language and citizenship test. Since she does not need to give the test and language results with those 2 things, how long could it take till the decision made stage?
