It says in transit as the location of the paper fileI think if criminality shows “passed” then there is very less chance that they will request FP.
can you confirm paper application location? Does it says “in transit “or reached at local office?

To be honest it's only fair, they took a risk and signed up to be test subjects of the new online protocol. Nobody knew if it was better or worse to apply online. Also on the other topics online applicants indicated only a subset of them moved faster than paper applications. Looks like they took a sample of couple of thousand people for testing out the new processes, the rest moves as everybody else. Glitches are still being worked out so I don't mind they are kind of "rewarded". I am paper applicant BTW.From the tacking sheet...

Can anyone explain to me how come more December applicants have received Test invites than the ones who have applied before? It will be surprising if it is just that the December applicants are somehow more active in updating the sheet. I am confused.
Edit: Just found this on CIC website..
If the above is true and the reason behind this, what an unfair world it is !
The application was sent to Sydney, N.S. I think I know where it was sent.
Online application started sometime in early December 2020.Since when was it possible to apply online? I remember thinking it was too old school to make a paper application. Did I miss an opportunity or has online become an option only after our applications in september 2020?
The online applications started in December 2020. For some reason, IRCC is quite fast in processing these online applications and yes, to my surprise, many December applicants have received their test invites even when some mid-late 2019 applicants are still waiting. From the tacking sheet...

You won't see much information about "Security" part on the GCMS notes. Under the admissibility section (and under security) see if some section numbers are mentioned anywhere on the top or bottom of the page. Usually, when information is redacted from your report, you'll see the relevant section number under which the information was redacted (It'll look something like "S.122" printed towards the top or bottom of the page (or sometimes in the center of the page under 'Security').Hey guys
I received my gscm notes yesterday. They were generated on the 6th of April
Any hints on how to read them?
I can only see that criminality is passed, and security it says screening and no repotable trace
Everything else is not started
Any idea if that means i wont be getting a fp request?
Visa office is ottawa
Congrats! All the very best!Received my test invite today, non-urgent application.

No point in ordering them now. You are within the average timeline for processing the applications. It is just a waste of your time but also IRCC's time having to fulfil these requests which is time they could be spent working on applications. Notes is useful if your application takes longer than the advertised time, not before.HELLO DEARS,
SHOULD I ORDER GSCM NOTES FOR MY FAMILY AND I , NOW??
OS I SHOULD WIT IF I AM ASKED TO DO
That's so good to hear. Get ready, September cohort. Dust out that Discover Canada book...Received my test invite today, non-urgent application.
In my opinion, IRCC was testing the online application process. It is not necessary that being invited for the online test means that all other steps were fast-tracked or completed out of turn. They will still have to process the applications with all other criteria to be covered as well. All it means is that the knowledge component is out of the way. From the tacking sheet...

Yeah, that is hopeful. That's so good to hear. Get ready, September cohort. Dust out that Discover Canada book...
You're right on the busy offices. I'm Mississauga too, so don't think I'll get the invite very soon. It's still a good sign that IRCC (in general) is progressing with applications and we can all get citizenship by the end of the year.Yeah, that is hopeful.
But I'm also afraid that it depends on the office that sent the invite. If your application falls under an extremely overloaded and/or inefficient (no evidence to substantiate this but just making a general argument here) office like Mississauga (like me), the timelines we see here might not apply. Applicants whose applications are in offices that are generally quicker because of efficiency or less workload might get invites much sooner. The data in the sheet might be skewed in that sense.
But let's see what the near future holds. I hope that a sizable number of September applicants get their oath invitations before the end of this year.
