Not sure if anyone noticed, the December 2020 online applicants (non-urgent) have started receiving test invites.
Since when was it possible to apply online? I remember thinking it was too old school to make a paper application. Did I miss an opportunity or has online become an option only after our applications in september 2020?

Can anyone explain to me how come more December applicants have received Test invites than the ones who have applied before? It will be surprising if it is just that the December applicants are somehow more active in updating the sheet. I am confused.

Edit: Just found this on CIC website..

A new online citizenship application (e-app) is now available for some randomly selected applicants.

If you’ve already applied on paper, do not apply online.

If the above is true and the reason behind this, what an unfair world it is !

They submitted their application online. It might unfair but I guess they are testing the system, there's not really anything you can do to complain about it

The application was sent to Sydney, N.S. I think I know where it was sent.

Hey guys

I received my gscm notes yesterday. They were generated on the 6th of April

Any hints on how to read them?

I can only see that criminality is passed, and security it says screening and no repotable trace

Everything else is not started

Any idea if that means i wont be getting a fp request?

Visa office is ottawa

I think if criminality shows “passed” then there is very less chance that they will request FP.
can you confirm paper application location? Does it says “in transit “or reached at local office?

The tracking sheet and this forum only represent a very, very small fraction of the actual IRCC applicants. A lot of people will also stop updating, the December applicants may be updating more because they're excited. And the data will also skew towards more "advanced" users who are aware of the online application process.

IMO, the tracking sheet is a decent guide for average timelines, but analyzing it and this forum will only cause more anxiety.
