What is the date at the left side footer of the letter cause IRCC started issuing out letters to take test outside canada from 2021/06 cause that's what was on my letter that I got from Windsor office.

There is no date on left bottom. Only i could see letter dated on left top.

Its Jun16 and Jun23 but no word about outside Canada. The exact content change didnt happen nationwide hence for windsor the content changed after 23rd as we saw for another forum member. But before 23rd we saw in other forums threads on allowing people from outside by other cic offices.

@Nevine.Kassem and me had the same version numbers and date on the test invite document but the OP saw "You can take the test outside Canada" message and I didn't. Inconsistent. The OP received the request from Scarborough and I received it from Mississauga.

Thanks Raj. Appreciate your response. Anyone knows CIC contact number from outside of Canada?

Use google voice or some other app like textme(i guess - you can search on apps there are a lot) which will allow to dial same Canada number 1-888-242-2100

Thanks Raj. I actually logged in after a long time. I will provide my details shortly. So coming to the response - I let the local office know (I think it’s Scarborough) that I am outside of Canada and they said I should reschedule and take the test once I’m back.
Should I reach out again and let them know that there are some applicants who are getting this option..and request to take the test from outside of Canada?

Yes. On the bottom left corner of the test invite pdf. Mine was 01-2021 and it was the same for @Nevine.Kassem . However, his test invite said he could take the test outside Canada but mine didn't.

Ours look like a poorly scanned copy of the letter(dont know if it is system generated but i can copy the text from pdf). Right bottom is Canada logo. Left bottom is blank.

LOL that's weird. My letter was almost certainly system generated.

It was in June. And I just sent them an email and got a response saying ‘ you’re scheduled for a test retake’ which seemed like an automated message.
I’ll try reaching out again if I don’t get a response from an agent.
Cic has its strange ways.

I’m outside Canada, and my local office is Calgary. I called IRCC and they said the test can be taken from outside Canada. I’m not sure why it’s not consistent across all local offices.

I have no clue. This is strange.

Was it before or after June 19 ? I heard the change came in effect after June 19 !!

This was before June 19th. That explains it!! Anyone know the CIV number to call from outside of Canada?
