Adding one more thing. You study in advance and take the test at the earliest date that is comfortable. This way, you'll be able to help him study not having to worry about your own test.

Good luck, hope both of you pass the test and give us the good news soon!
Thank you very much for your reply.
We will now focus on his fast recovery and take the test probably around the deadline, if everything goes well!
Covid19 and CT update today was an emotinal day!

Thank you for the extra needed motivation today!

Called ircc today at 8.05am local time, and the lines are already too busy that they didn't even transfer me to an agent. What a joke.

I will keep ordering gcms notes going forward more frequently, since this lack of transparency is really getting on my nerves, and I recommend everyone do the same. We deserve to know more and we simply deserve to be treated better.

I'll also take my chances with urgent processing soon, since I'm switching gears towards a health-related career, and I am planning on taking full advantage of the situation. I'll update here if my little initiative succeeds later this summer.

Hello! Following up on my post: I received the official test invite by email earlier this morning. It contains a pdf doc with instructions for taking the test.

Hi everyone!

My app status has just been updated, see below. The last update was on May 18 (Physical presence & Language skills - Completed; Prohibitions - still showing as In Progress).

I haven't received any email from @cic.gc.ca. Should I call them and ask for instructions or just wait a few more days?

Hello, i have noticed that some people provided the date of their BG status set to Completed. May I ask where to access that information? I have been using IRCC ECAS, and all i can see is the current status of my citizenship application, along with date where IRCC received and started processing the application. thank you!

Guys heads up. Looks like someone just got an in-person test.

Look at this post. There is no test window and the words "online test" is not seen on their status update. They've given the applicant a single date (June 7) to attend the test. The OP still hasn't received an email.

We're still NOT SURE if this is an in-person test but be sure to check that thread when the OP responds once s/he receives the test invitation in the email.

thank you this is super helpful. Since I have never received an AoR for my citizenship application, even though the status of the application is currently in progress, any suggestion on how I will be able to obtain the information of my application number? thanks!
You can call IRCC and provide them with your UCI, name and other details. They'll be able to give you your application number.

can you share the correct call center phone number/menu options for to speak an actual person at IRCC? I have tried multiple times, but never seems to be able to get ahold of a person. thanks!
1888-242-2100 . I'm not very sure about the menu options because I haven't called them.

Someone who has recently called them can help.
