This happened to me when I accidentally had my VPN on and it was connected to a US server.

If you have a VPN that's connected to a US or another foreign server, try disconnecting it and try again.

If you are outside Canada, try connecting the VPN to a Canadian server and then try again.

True that I'm on VPN, however connected to Canadian server and IP.
But I tried turning off my VPN and it works. Thanks for that tip

Is there a difference between background check and prohibitions? They look same as far as content inside. I got my BG completed, but everything else is in progress except test and oath, which is in not started status.

Citizenship test will change to "In Progress" a few days before you get your test invite. Physical Presence, Language, Test and prohibitions will be set to "Completed" a few days after the test (when the test results are verified).

BG completion is the first step. Once citizenship test is done and the results are verified by the officer and it will be set to complete as well. You may or may not have an interview after this step.

If you are scheduled for an interview, language, prohibitions and physical presence are checked at that time by requesting additional documents (for physical presence and prohibitions) and interview itself (for language skills). These three will be set to complete once the officer is satisfied.

Otherwise All four fields will be set to complete after citizenship test if you are not scheduled for an interview. hope it helps!

September Applicant. Decision Made.
Here is the Decision - There is no point in checking status and/or this forum on daily basis. So, I will come back after 15days.

I don't think that's the order IRCC follows to mark those sections as Completed. And I'm starting to wonder if they follow any order whatsoever because at this point it seems things are getting a bit sidetracked. As I mentioned yesterday right after checking my application status, Background Verification was marked as Completed as of April 23, with Language Skills, Physical Presence and Prohibitions showing as In Progress (both Citizenship Test and Citizenship Ceremony - Not Started). However, I checked the status again this morning and it looks like there was some movement: Language Skills and Physical Presence were both marked as Completed, and Prohibitions is now In Progress. And no, I haven't taken the test, still waiting for the invite

Wow this is weird.

The order I mentioned is what the applications have been mentioning till now. Your case is the first time there is a deviation from that. Good to know.

If they all provide an update, the sheet will have more meaning and it will be complete. I couldn't even find some members on the forum so I have asked the sheet owners to reach out to them.
