Is it true that IRCC is working on 2021 cases first, and not 2020? It's giving me anxiety now
Haven't really heard any 2021 outlanders getting a PPR so far. We are pretty much stuck with even eligibility not started.

Just had a ghost update on my application, never had one before. (Almost had a heart attack, thought it would show approved haha)

CEC Inland, one dependent AOR Sept 05.
Hopefully this means good news soooon :)

EDIT: Just realized that it was just my medicals expiring :( no update on if they'll be extended..
Had another ghost update yesterday.. wondering if they extended my medicals maybe, but nothing changed in my account, still showing "You do not need a medical exam..."

My theory: decision on Medicals is made by an officer. Same is to be said with other stages of application. Since most if not all of them are busy with other duties, one can only wait and doing upfront remeds prolly won't make much sense...

Most likely your medicals would have expired or would expire within the next 6 months. IRCC will send the medicals for reassessment and grant extension if applicable. When your meds are sent for reassessment, the status changes.

Hi Legalfalcon,

I am a FSW-O applicant and my AOR is 25th September 2020, applied from India and currently residing in USA. I applied for a study permit in August 1st week 2021 and got a new upfront medical exam done for it in the 1st week of August 2021.

My medicals for my PR application got expired on August 14th 2021. I got an update regarding the same and in the portal it says "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes". I have not yet received any re-medical request/email till date.

Can I use the upfront medical document that I got for my study permit, to update IRCC for my PR application through a web form?
Please advice. Thank you for everything you do.

So I just received my file notes and it looks like my criminality was passed on September 16 (which explains my ghost update), but on the first page Criminality is still showing in progress, could this be my spouses criminality?

Also, under the section where the officers leave notes there is a note from August 18 "Due date pushed 30 days" has anyone seen this before and know what that means? Due date is now September 17th, but today is the 21st and I still don't have my PR :D

@legalfalcon

The criminality is based on your PCCs and the biometrics you provide. The fingerprints that you provide are processed by RCMP and the result is provided to IRCC.

See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nitiatives/biometrics/process-steps-2018.html

Even if the PCC may have been reviewed, unless RCMP report is in, the criminality will continue to show in progress.

IT is a system date that has been pushed further to remind the officer to check in 30 days.
