In fact I’m Oct 20 FSW and my file is also at Ottawa; this gives me some hope!

Today, I got a request for "Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E)" form added in the profile, though I have taken upfront medical exam which is valid till Aug-2021. My medical assessment was not updated in the profile from the beginning. Every time, I called customer care agent, they told that file is in order and assessment is done , only officer needs to update in the profile.

@legalfalcon what shall I do now? do I need to take medical exam again?. AOR-Sep-15,2020. CEC- Inland, Upfront medical was done on Aug-2020.

Me too got a remed request. I think it's a good sign and usually they trigger for remeds when background checks are completed. Can u share some light @legalfalcon

If your meds are already valid, you can seek IRCC for a clarification specially if you are inland applicant.

If you are an outland applicant and your meds are about to expire in the next few months and if by then your application won't be approved, or if approved won't have enough time for your to travel, then re-meds can be asked.

BGC = Criminality + Security

My last updates are from February 2021, everything passed. Confirmed by IRCC on phone. It’s very frustrating ....

Are you FSW? Mine hasn’t moved since eligibility got passed. Mine is FSW inland sep 4 AOR. No updates after eligibility passed. I really feel they are only processing CEC. We are inland too and not affected by any travel restrictions. Have been waiting for 7 plus months now, will complete 8 months on May 2.

It said we are processing your background check. I do believe a lot of September applications will be approved this month
