Hi everyone. My question is regarding the bridging work permit. My AOR for PR is September 9th and I thought my PR would be out around March. My issue now is my work Permit expires at the end of this month April. Will I still be eligible to apply for a bridging work permit giving that it is now less than 30days to the expiry of my work permit? Please advise

Same with mine too but i noticed a GU last week though. I am sep 2 aor and i think they are still working on sep first week aor's.
Sep 1st AOR. Eligibility: recommended pass. Criminality: pass. Security not started yet. Do you know how long does it take to pass security once it’s initiated?

God knows when the good news will come.
Oh in 2 weeks only? So I can apply for bowp a little later, as my pgwp expires in July.

Called IRCC and the agent told me everything is completed, But still no approval status or COPR. Asked me to wait for it.

I would say apply it now, it could take more time, we were lucky this time, my husband applied for extention on 28sep and it took 4 months at that time, may be PR application was in intial stages that's why it took time then.

don't risk it apply now
