I am seeing a trend that even for CEC inland applicants who are here for more than a year, still CIC is asking for RCMP check ?
Is it a required step to get RCMP done before submitting the PR application along with PCC from other countries or it depends on case by case basis ?

Does anyone know what is general timelines now for the application to be processed ?

I submitted my application CEC- INLAND AOR SEPT 5,2020, and they didnt ask for RCMP during the documents upload, however if in any case they'll ask for it later then I guess there's no harm to get it. I suggest just provide whatever they'll ask

Just got my BIL, no MEP update as of now
Congratulations ma dude!

I’ve got my AOR around the same date, but there seems to be no end in sight for the wait. The only thing I see changed on my application is they are processing background check. Medical stays not needed as of now.
I’m applying as PNP Outland though.

OP, any idea on if the MEP takes longer for a PNP applicant?
