Have a BOWP question...My apologies if this is not the right forum to raise this. I have a September 2020 AOR nevertheless.

I am applying for BOWP on back of my PR application (CEC). For the record. Would anybody know how to proceed for US born kids (who are in Canada attending elementary school and having a study permit/visitor record)? I did not apply for visitor visa for them when the family entered Canada the first time (because they are US citizens) but got a study permit at port of entry. Their study permit (which is a visitor record) mentions my work permit expiry date as the last date. For the record, I am principal applicant with spouse and 2 kids as part of PR application (AOR of Sep 21).

I read somewhere that they need to have Visitor record application extension, but not sure. Can somebody help?

Their study permit/ visitor record will be expired same day with your work permit so you need to apply for their study permit /visitor record extensions for them as well otherwise they are out of status. I did same for my kids by answer Yes to the question” do you apply to any other persons accompaning you”? Something similar to that and all required documents will pop up.

Hello. I want to clarify if I am waiting for PR decision and my work permit expires as well as my child 's study permit. I have applied for BOWP for me and for a visitor Visa for my child. I have received a letter that confirms I am eligible to continue working under the same conditions till decision about PR status made. However, I did not get any letters about my child's visitor permit and its current status ( eligibility even has not been started yet). Does this mean that after expiration of my child's permit she is automatically in implied status and there is no necessity to apply for something else? Would be grateful for the advice.

Thank you !

While doing so, I see this question which is as "What is your family member`s current immigration status in Canada? " . Should it be "Temporary Residence Permit Holder"?

Awesome, that's so fast! I assume PNP applications are being processed faster than CEC? Have seen a lot of PNP's being approved with short processing times..
