SEPTEMBER 2019 *Outland* Spousal Sponsorship

It is basically when you log in, the application says it's been " updated " but none of the fields have changed. Once you logout and log back in, the application returns to being “submitted”.

Medical and Biometric completed in Dec. 2019
AOR 2 (file transfered to NDVO) 06th Jan 2020
GCMS Notes and application status shows that background check not yet started and 'application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made"

And my Ecas says the application is received

What is happening guys :( NDVO is just not bothered in opening their office and the replies which i get over emails are almost system generated.. This is heartbreaking and annoying.

Applicants from Sept 2019 are getting updates like, Status changes to ‘In Process’, Pre-arrivals etc.

Question:

I have received my COPR and never got a passport request letter. I am from the US and am wondering if that means I don’t need to send in my passport

Can depend on the Visa office it’s coming from. There’s no set timeline, even for applications at the same office.

For example, the Sydney Australia office processed my NZ husband’s COPR the same day his PPR arrived at the office, but other PPRs at that office have taken a few weeks.

If there is one thing you can count on from IRCC it’s inconsistency.
