As I understood, you are good and shouldn't matter as it is the mailing address...but explicitly mention it, so there is no ambiguity for the examining officer.

As per IRCC, If you’re outside Canada, when you arrive in Canada

"If you’re admissible and there are no problems when you arrive, the officer will:
allow you to enter Canada as a permanent resident
confirm your Canadian mailing address where we’ll mail your permanent resident card
If you change your address within 180 days of arriving in Canada, you must tell us using the web form."

If you’re already in Canada, during the interview the officer will:
"confirm your Canadian mailing address, so we can mail your permanent resident card (PR card)
If you change your address within 180 days of getting your status, you must tell us using the web form."

Yes this is the ircc address, but the one in the customs declaration card is the physical residential address

Awfully quite out here... I am still awaiting the test request. Hopefully things gets better in August or September...

I just called CIC today and verify my application status (last time they asked me to do finger print on January) - Mississauga applicant.

The officer told me now the office is closed until "no date". Next step is interview test but I have to wait until office is opened which is they don't know when.

Everything is back log now so I guess we just all have to be patient!

Someone from January 2020 thread reported he receives an AOR today. Maybe IRCC is working on how to arganize a test safely.

Hey guys,

Seems many candidates are getting invitations for virtual oath ceremonies now.

Any news on virtual test? I haven't seen anyone getting that so far.

Thanks and good luck to all!

Cheers

ecas updated: 6th march 2020 Decision Made

Waiting for next step.

Virtual Citizenship Ceremony Expression of Interest email received: 13 July 2020
Notice to Appear Video Oath One-on-one Virtual Ceremony email received: 14 July 2020
Virtual Citizenship Ceremony Scheduled date: 30 July 2020

No change in ecas. It still shows as Decision Made.

Regular applicant. My oath wasn't scheduled before the pandemic hit. Also, the application file was transferred from Scarborough to Niagara falls during the pandemic. I requested for my file to be transferred after the test at Scarborough.

All the best to everyone awaiting their turn. Hang in there. You will be up next!

I don't believe they will answer your question, but it's worth trying I guess. Telephone: 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only) . Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays. Services are available in French and English.

They are not giving any proper answer only will suggest you for wait... does not make any sense where everything has been opened.
Barber shops
Malls
Shoppings
Restaurants
Picnic places
But citizenship activity cannot.... otherwise if they continue with limit applicants everyday so they must reduce backlog.. but couldnt.

Well still waiting for oath ceremony.

Scarborough office.

Please update if any scarborough location applicant receive oath ceremony invitation.
