Many thanks@legalfalcon we submitted a copy of his pr card, utility bill of his address and bank statement. The challenge was when we first submitted the application in September 2019 my husband and he siblings only submitted an affidavit of birth and their both international passport as their birth certificates are missing which was explained. So his issue is with proving my relationship with my brother who is a PR. Please any recommendation for a good lawyer will be appreciated. Thank you.

Still no PPR. Last time I received GCMS was August and that time status was same as it was in February: Eligibility passed by the officer, criminality in progress (waiting for spouse biometric which she gave a month ago), security Not started. I requested another GCMS end of October but received 90 days extension request by IRCC last Friday.

Our medical is expiring end of January, but I am not sure if it is extended by IRCC. I received two ghost updates on 20 and 21 October, which might have been glitch. The plan was to see from the GCMS if medical is extended by IRCC, if not, go for another medical. But the GCMS is delayed as well with the 90 days request, @legalfalcon what to do?

Currently most GCMS notes requests are being delayed. That is across the board. The same thing happened in June and July, but the Office of the Information Commissioner held such extensions to be invalid, and even the COVID operational difficulties as not a reasonable ground for such extensions. The report from OIC is:

Until this is resolved, you can send a webform or call IRCC and ask specifically about your medicals and status updates. To read on how to decipher webform responses, see https://bit.ly/3nQAj4u

Also, if your medicals are extended, you should be able to see them on your MyCIC account.
