I made a total of three updates to the application via the webform in Nov 2019, Dec 2019 and Jan 2020 for end of employment & address change, marital status and travel history. I have also used the web form to confirm my VO and I'm still waiting for a response from them.

The online portal states that my BGC is yet to start and they will send a message once they start the process. This message hasn't changed since I passed the medical i.e 17th Sept 2019. Would this be considered as Ghost Update 1? Does this mean that they have completed R10 and A11.2?

Greatly appreciate any responses.

From what I understand ndvo is slow. So I guess you should be okay. Maybe you could give them a call to all the status and specific questions on whether eligibility, criminality and security has passed. You’ll have a better idea then.
@13nitinsharma has the same vo. Maybe he could shed some light on this for you

Change in marital status usually adds months to processing from observing these forums. End of employment/address change wouldn’t be an issue. Unless new travel needs additional checks.. not necessarily a cause for concern.

I’d definitely call them to get an update or order gcms note abs see if you need to send any extra docs to satisfy them

Hello same will me .my AOR date is 21sept. . No change after med. Pass on 15 oct.but I called cic last month told me that only security is pending hopefully will ppr in this week

Hmm! Isn't that weird?! My husband applied for his PR last year and there was no update on the portal after his medical. He directly got a PR confirmation email after 5months. Interestingly, the portal was updated after 10days of receiving that email. This happened to a few of his friends as well.

Anyway, fingers crossed!

Yeah, haven't heard nice things about NDVO. I'm trying to get through the call from past 4hrs and all I can reach is the voicemail. :/

Thank you! Change in marital status is different from adding a dependent to the application right? Isn't a long process applicable to the latter situation? In my case, my husband is already a PR holder so I clearly stated that he must not be considered as a dependent on my application.

Yes! it is true .Same happened with my sister file last year direct PPR request, Reason of my worry is that my file is over 5 months 3 days now . As per immigration tracker data oct AOR files got PPR request.

I think my VO is Dakar. I wrote to them (dakar.immigration@international.gc.ca), but no answer. They said they will give an answer only for applications that have passed the normal processing time.

Someone know how can I have my application status?

Aha that shouldn’t be a problem. I assumed you got married to a non-PR who would have to do medical, background check etc causing significant delay. Yeah call them

Good day guys! I just raised a webform last week, and they replied today with these:
(1) eligibility review is passed
(2) security background verification and criminal background verification haven't been initiated.

My AOR is September 28 and it's less than a month before I reach the 6-month period. Any ideas how long will these take verification take based on experience? Thanks and I hope we all get our PPR soon!

Called IRCC last week and was told that everything else is complete except Med is still under review.
Given the fact that there are only 4 weeks to 6 months, what else should I do other than patiently waiting?

This is very normal. No need to be concerned about. To know the exact status you can call IRCC and ask if your eligibility is met, which is the most important stage. Also, you can consider requesting GCMS notes.

I called CIC a week ago and they said eligibility not started yet. Background is under process, security not started yet. I’ll get my GCMS notes on 18th March as I ordered them last month. Thank you @legalfalcon for your time. I missed job duties in my foreign work experience which I later submitted through webform. Is it because of that?
