@pk107 @Trust God

I really would not worry at this stage if I were you. I know very well that silence and waiting can be very frustrating, but from what I have seen on numerous threads here, NDVO is one of slower VOs, similar to Mexico and Vienna. There is often a few months of silence before applicants see any movement on their applications. It's only been 2 months since the transfer and it is too early for both of you to see any movement or to worry. That doesn't mean they are not working on your apps. It just means that it takes some time as there is a large number of applications transferred to your VO. Once they go through your file in detail and pass PR's eligibility (genuineness of relationship), you might receive Pre-Arrival Services letter first, but soon after that your BGC is performed (it can take anywhere from a few days to a few months, there is no rule, each case for itself). If all goes well, a PPR is issued.
I think sometimes silence is a good thing too. It can mean that there are no additional documents required and that no interview is needed. For some applicants, ECAS / GCKey status changes at the very end. I saw many cases where after a long period of silence, BGC, DM and PPR happened all within one week. So, I strongly suggest to give it a couple more months. If things happen sooner - great, but if not, you are still within what they consider a normal processing time, so try to relax and go about your daily business. We must wait our turn. Things will happen soon enough.

It truly is a waiting game , and the Mexico VO is slow for most . The great thing about all this is that my patience is improving hahaha . However my husband is becoming the impatient one now. Good luck to you

Hi all, hope you are well. This morning I received an e-mail stating that I need to send my passport to the local visa office with photos. Attached was a Passport Request Letter. Does this mean our application has been approved and that we won't be rejected? We were asked to send additional proof about a month ago, and we were really stressed that our proof was not enough (for sponsor to move to Canada). Does this letter mean I was approved as applicant? Really hope so.

Timeline:

AOR: 17 December
AOR 2: 21 January 2019
Med request and additional proof request: 27 February 2019
Medical passed: 05 March 2019
Passport request: 28 March 2019

I’m pretty sure that this is PPR - does your ecas has “Decision Made”? If yes then it’s most likely an approval

ECAS was in process this morning, I just checked now and it says Decision Made. Please tell me this is what I think it is...I feel tears of joy coming!
I feel ya!!! Congratulations ☺️☺️ it is and you all have the reasons to celebrate!!

Is your file with cpc-m or local visa office?
