I submitted my applciation since September 24, 2018, got AOR Dec 22. My wife had my 2nd son on November 9, so i posted a webform after AOR. Got an update in PA's GCKey on Jan 23rd with my 2nd son added to the application.
No SA, Medical Request nothing. My wife has biometrics recorded in her GCKey from a failed TRV aplication in july 2018.
PA is in Nigeria, I am in Ontario.

App. received: Sept 21st, 2018
AOR1: Dec 1st
Sponsorship approved- Jan 3rd, 2019
No medical request after that...

Application forwarded to New delhi (got info from CIC over call) but no transfer email..
Only an update on PA side in ECAS showing "Started processing applc on Jan 15"...
Is there someone with same issue without being medical done and transfered to NDVO

Similar case here, after receiving AOR 2 no email update for MR.

My timeline:
App accepted - Sept 27th 2018
AOR 1 - Jan 4th 2019
SA - Jan 22nd 2019
AOR 2 - Feb 4th 2019

After some months trying to linking my application to Gckey, finally it works, and now I need somebody to explain how to read the current status. Pls help anyone, does these Gckey explainations means they still review my eligibility first? Thanks

Quick question has anyone in this group not paid the RPRF ($490)
We deferred this payment and I am wondering if I can pay this anytime now or wait until they request it ?
My friend knows someone that got the request to pay it and they don’t even have SA yet .... so strange
So yes wondering if we can pay that fee anytime and just upload the receipt . Problem is I think we will have to send receipt via case specific enquiry because we have yet to receive AOR2 ... all so frustrating

We haven't paid RPRF too.
It my SA written
"Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) If the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application and you have chosen to defer payment of that fee, you will be contacted to make the payment at a later date. A Permanent Resident Visa cannot be issued to your relative(s) until this payment is submitted."

I got the request to pay RPRF the day before I got my SA. I was always of the opinion that you had to wait for the request, not sure if you can just go ahead with payment.

You can pay it before hand before you submit your application. If u have already sent your application better to wait until they request it

Yes true.

Yes it’s so strange , we have not received the request yet . I think you are all right and to wait until they request it . I just don’t want it to hold anything up . I also had that quote in my SA letter so I will wait . I just found it so weird that a friend of a friend received the request to pay even before SA but as we have said before , everything and everyone’s process is different.
Thanks again everyone for the clarity

Please help..

I sent my application complete one month ago.

But i made 2 mistakes:

1. I got an expendable folder and mailed my application inside, then after mailing my application.. i found in the general guide on the website for commin mistakes to avoid section: ”Dont staple, dont send plastic files, dont send binders, etc..
But i sent all my paperwork inside an expandable file splittes into secrions!

2. I found also on the general guide written to take out the barcode pages and place them underneath the checklist.. i didnt do that. I kept the bar cod pages with their corresponding applications.

Do you think my application would be returned because of that :( :( :( :( :(
I am turning so nervous. And i dont find similar posts and situation so stressing for me.
If you could share ur experience/ advice.

I think this whole process depends solely on the agent that gets your file. Some are very efficient and some not so much.
We can only hope ours ends up in good hands.

I haven't yet heard of anyone's application being returned for these reasons but I'm hoping your file ends up in the hands of an agent that's more lenient and will overlook this. Some can be cruel :(

Yes I have only heard of applications being returned for missing items, never for having a complete application in a different order . I think you should be ok and like the previous response hopefully you get a more leinient officer

You are so right . I just get so stressed out when I see it hear all the different ways the applications are handled . I’m just going to stay patient .... as my husband says haha and wait . I did sent a case specific enquiry asking if the RPRF can be paid earlier than requested , and I will follow up when I get a response .
