Just want to share the quick update on my application!
On 22 January, ecas status shows Medical results have been received. Husband paid for RPRF 24 January 2019, we received RPRF payment confirmation from IRCC 29 January. After the payment confirmation e-mail, haven't heard anything until Feb 13th, just ten minutes away from Valentine's day, husband woke up with the e-mail saying:
"The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of
Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa."

Best Valentine's surprise ever. Heading to Manila CVAC on Monday. :)

App sent/received Sept 13th, AOR Dec 20th... nothing since. Applicant from UK.

Still chasing a letter (showing on ECAS) that was sent on Jan 4th. No idea what this is, but it is showing up under Sponsorship Application Status (In Progress) on ECAS. Have tried about 5 times to request the letter to be re-sent! So frustrating. 5 months and no real movement. :(

have you tried looking at your gckey account?

have you tried looking at your gckey account?

Yeah - no messages. I provided screenshots in the web form and they even suggested the sponsor to create a GCKey account to view their messages!

Replied with further screenshots and they said they will pass this enquiry onto the relevant office, who may be in touch for more information. All I want is the letter re-sent/emailed/available in GCKey!

Hi everyone,
hope everyone is well.

quick question. We received a letter saying the process is almost complete but we need to do some things before 30 days.

One is a photocopy of passport and 2 photos. We have already submitted that with the original package. Does that mean we have to do it again? has anyone else run into this as well?

If you received the same letter as mine saying "The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, your permanent residence visa.", you must bring your passport and 2 photos to CVAC so they can process COPR and visa :)

Oh really! I'm surprised it doesn't break down what the letter actually is on GCKey.

This was from January 4th, so we're well over a month since it was sent. Hopefully if it is biometrics, they can re-send the request.
