Hi folks, I have been trying to load the spreadsheet for a few days to update our status but I keep getting unable to load over and over. My husbands medical exam is scheduled for tomorrow. We wanted a doctor close to home so hubby could get there easily if I couldn't get off work to take him. It was the earliest we could get in Richmond BC.

Hi guys I applied for family sponsorship for my spouse and for her OPW on 25september2017
And they send us the AOR on 18th of october and on 29th of November i got request for medical MR and i did my Medical on 5th December so if anybody knows what’s next thing they r going to ask and how long it’s gonna take for OPW

i did my medical exam on the 1st of december. it was a saturday. i am not sure when they uploaded my results.

And they send us the AOR on 18th of october and on 29th of November i got request for medical MR and i did my Medical on 5th December so if anybody knows what’s next thing they r going to ask and how long it’s gonna take for OPW

hi we have similar time line i got my aor on 18th too. and mr on 29th . as our applications must have been received from 20-25th september. it should arrive any time between december 20th to 31st.

I passed my medicals .I called cic to ask about me OWP extension. they said thst they evaluate my husbands eligibility first then they aprove.. and tgey said till mid jan.

yes i was just calculating as per other applicants open work permit ! I understand there is always chance for delay ! Thank you . ya hope newyear brings us all luck !

I got it done on 23rd Nov .and took 15 days approx till passed.

Completed medical exam yesterday at Dwyer Immigration Medical in Vancouver. They were very quick and helpful and even gave me a chocolate because it was my birthday! Just in case anyone is looking for somewhere to get it done.

Now patiently waiting OWP approval. Seems odd that a couple of applicants got theirs and then it went quiet

Hey! I did my medical exam on their office too. They are quite good . My medical status updated to passed 2 days ago. I had them done on Nov 27, so it took exactly 10 mon-fri days for it to be updated.

I am joining this a bit late but I'll share my timeline
Application sent: September 13, 2018
Application received: September 14, 2018
AOR: October 13, 2018
Medical Request: November 23, 2018
Medical Completed: December 11, 2018
OWP: In Process

Same thing happened to me. My OWP date received is a week before it was actually delivered to the office by mail. They got my PR app with OWP app on September 13, but it shows as received on September 6 on the website.

Another strange thing for me is that under "Application type" it says "Online Application" even though it was delivered by mail. Does it show that for you too?

Excactly thing happened to me. Even received day, bla bla.

My medical status is passed now. And my eligibility started tonight
Review of eligibility Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.

Background has to be completed before eligibility is passed
