Hi

We received our citizenship certificate yesterday (May 31) This concludes our citizenship journey. I thank everyone in this forum who contributed their part in making this journey happier and easier (both for PR and citizenship) I wish good luck to all. A sincere thank you to all.

i had my interview today in MISSISSAUGA i passed the exam but i had been asked for passports translation any one knows how long it could take the processing after i submit the translation !

Friends, I used the photo copy of my General training ielts result from 2014 results as proof of language, I don’t have the originals as they were submitted with my pr application, has someone similar to that gone through the interview? Or should I run for celpip or something?
Please suggest asap
Thanks

No worries. I gave a copy of my celpip test result from 2013. Now my file is DM no any issues.

Great, were there any questions asked? Mine is ielts hope not much of a difference
Thanks

I am also a September applicant and haven't heard anything since the application went "In-Process" in December. There's nothing to worry and you can't do anything anyway. They will contact when your file is updated. You can try calling them or submitting a webform to inquire about your file but in most cases that doesn't do much.

Hi,
our test was complete March 13th 2019, passed with 18/20, we had to submit proof of travel as our passports were not stamped on entry into the EU, these were submitted the following day after test. My husband was then asked for police clearance from our home country on April 1st and submitted by April 12th, to our offce in Saskatoon, by email and by mail. However on May 9th they requested the original copy of the police clearance, we expedited mailed the original from Ireland to Saskatoon, and IRCC received original by May 16th. Both mine and my husbands file have been at in process. My husband requested the notes on his file on May 1st. We received a 39 page document on Friday, with a lot of information on it, that I don't really understand, but one thing that stood out to me was that on April 16th when the Police Clearance was received it was "put on file on self for XXXXX attention" . The notes we recievd does not include the fact that we were requested to send original documentation, or that it has been received.

Has anyone had or heard of similar experiences? Kind of nervous as we cannot book a trip to anywhere as we are in limbo when it comes to the ceremony?

Hi there,

My ECAS status got updated to "Decision Made" last week and I am still waiting for my oath invitation. I was wondering if I should expect oath invitation by email or postage mail?

I am based in Ottawa and I had passed my citizenship test on May 16th. Not sure what's the timeline for oath invitation for Ottawa based applicants after they pass the citizenship test and ECAS showing Decision Made status. If anyone wants to throw some insight, much appreciated!!

Received an email this morning about Oath Ceremony....as they won't hold an Oath Ceremony at our itinerant office for another 6 months, they gave a choice of dates to do the Oath in Vancouver. Responded to the email right away with first and second choice...hurray!!! The finish line is in sight!
