Hi,
Today I had a phone interview with one of the defence aviation company but they denied on the ground of Canadian Citizenship requirement. I told that my citizenship application is in process right now but company wants to fill the position on urgent bases so they can't wait until final decision of my application.

So my question is that can I apply for urgent process on the base of the interview invitation letter?

You can ask them for a conditional offer letter. On the basis of the conditional offer letter, you can request for the urgent process.

I filed my application in Vancouver. But since January, I moved to Edmonton and I changed my address on CIC to Edmonton. However, I received this new appointment in Vancouver which has the test and appointment both on the same day. Is it wise to attend in Vancouver itself or request to reschedule in Edmonton?

Please let me know.

And I passed test 19 February 2019
But officer after interview told me
We wait your security check not complete
May take 6 months more

Hi guys,

Was looking at the September sheet and last DM was on row 41 after a test on March 26. What's going on? Are people not reporting changes on ECAS or is there really no movement at all in terms of DMs? Request to all in Sept 2018 thread - please check your ECAS and post about changes. It helps to know how the process is moving.

My test was on Feb 21.
Turned to Dm on Feb 23.
Just checked for online status, it changes to Oath letter has been sent on April 4. All good. Hope everyone gets it soon.

Normal processing time says 12 months. They probably won’t respond to you if its less than 12 months.

Yikes, all this time I thought our application is considered 'citizenship certificate'.
I didn't realise we fall under the 'citizenship grant' application which has a processing time of 12 months!!

No..we applied through the normal Process. The only thing i can relate is we never left canada for even single day from the day they arrived.
