Guys, Today I received an invitation for Citizenship test on February 21, 2019 which is a good news but the bad news is I cannot appear for this test on given date as I am out Canada and will comeback on 3rd of March. In email they said if I cannot attend this test and interview on given date then I should inform them promptly which I will do for sure. They will reschedule this test.

My question is, has anyone requested for reschedule if so then case processing center rescheduled again after how long?

My case processing center is Scarborough.

Can anyone tell how long it takes for test after applying...
I applied in sep 2018 got file in process on dec 03, 2018. I am planning to change the province. So i am thinking if i get my test before i change my province

Reschedule definitely delays the process. There is no specific timeline for when the new date is gonna be. Plus Scarborough is a very slow office so i would suggest you come back n appear for the test. Its worth it. Also, what is your timeline

Hubby got test invitation today, Feb 5, 2019.
Test date March 13, 2019!

Here’s a question...Letter states if under 18 or over 55 when you signed the document you don’t need to prove English proficiency or demonstrate knowledge of Canada. Does this mean he won’t have to write a test?

Here’s another....it says to bring originals of documents sent with the application. Umm, we sent originals in the application, so won’t they have those?
