Score: 20/20

Thanks..
Updated - congrats!

Hi, got an update! Moved to in process on Jan 21!
Also, date sent was Sept. 2

Is the test invite sent by email? We're leaving to Aus for a month and if the invite comes through snail mail, we may miss it?

Just wondering if anyone has run into a situation like this.....
My husband's PR card expired at the end of August 2018 so we applied for a new PR card on the same day we sent the citizenship application. His new PR card was mailed on December 12, but we never received it. We are leaving for Australia on Jan 31. We will apply for a PRTD when we get to Australia and hope that it's processed in time for our return to Canada.
Today we faxed the solemn declaration to the Sydney, NS office indicating that we never received the new PR card.
I've read that you are expected to hand in your PR card when you become a citizen, but what if we don't receive a new one before then?

How was questions?

Questions were spread across various topics. I felt more focus on the government structure, elections etc...
If you read the book once and try a few mock test, you should be good. Keep repeating the mock test till you get 100% pass marks.

I felt this mock test link was useful

http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/

But I also used this one.

http://www.citizenshipcounts.ca/quiz

Note: questions will not be the same like in you see in the mock test, they can be twisted a bit, so read carefully while writing the real test. It's okay to take time, don't panic if the person next to you finishes the exam in 5 mins and goes away. You have around 30 minutes to finish your exam.

Hope this helps. Have a great evening!

Great. Many Congrats. What was ur approach towards test preparation ?

Hi Bob... Thanks! To begin with, I learn things visually than reading, so I forced myself reading the book once.

This is the approach I followed.

It seems from the spreadsheet that other then Ontario the processing is quick.
Not even April 2018 applicants of Ontario have received test invite as yet?
Wonder why is that huge difference
looking for the same answer. I have applied from Brampton and its not moving at all.

fingerprint done today, it takes 14 days to be done according to the officer.

I answered it previously i think in differe r thread, GTA in particular is made up of approx 10% of canada population and only 2 officer i.e. mississauga and Scarborough are processing applicants, this may be one of the reason why GTA is lagging behind

Hello Guys,
I am from Jan 2019 application forum to clarify two things if anyone here can help.
1) Did anyone here got their application returned because they forgot to sign behind the photograph.
2) Many of us completed application based on the date of landing not the date they mentioned as eligibility period to complete the address and what we were questions. Did they got application returned because you did not cover the entire eligibility period. (Hope my question is clear)

Thanks in advance
