If you are Pakistani Origin and have NICOP, then you do not require Visa on Canadian Passport to travel to Pakistan.

Mine was Surrey, her she claims to be Vancouver, can the venue be different for two next door neighbours?

Why would she lie? I have seen tests and oaths on the weekends and even long weekends. So don't sweat it. She might have been given a chance to travel to Vancouver for her test. Who knows. But surely it doesn't matter whether she lied.
