What the 'potato' is CIC doing
6 month without decision is just cruel

Finally!! Today I made it to 6 months post-AOR without golden email! Finally so excited, thank you all for the support

Got the golden mail today.
People getting PPR before me caused me my insanity but this mail brought back sanity in me.

The day I got 2nd ghost update which was on Jan 23, I called them via Hangout the next day (on call for almost a whole day, only to manage to get in the waiting line at 4:25 pm Ottawa time) and a nice agent told me my application was approved. Yours might be in the same shoe as mine. Congrats in advance. My Passport Request was on Jan 31

Hi,
I am CEC inland applicant AOR 7 October.

Received additional documents request on Feb 28 for reconfirming my Job offer, IMM5669 and child's custody documents Along with my unaccompanying husbands medical request, which were expired.

All the documents were uploaded on March 02 and medical test done same day.

How long does it take to process and get response after submitting additional document request?

You are right. I talked to an agent from CIC moments ago and he mentioned that the file was approved yesterday and email will be sent soon for landing interview. Finally!!

I got it within a week. You need to submit passport and the necessary documents to the nearest VFS office.

Thanks for replying Sahil. I have already submitted my passport to VFS on 28th Feb 2019.
