The spreadsheet says that your background check is in progress. Is this true, or is it only the medical request you received on Oct. 20? For BGC IP you should have a notice on your mycic/gckey. is this the case?

Wow, that seems very fast!
Hope it means your application is going through quickly. I'm getting the impression that IRCC is picking up the pace a little based on reports (like yours) here.

My wife (PA) received the AOR on her email. Linked our application in one try with help from one of the threads here by entering these following informations:

Category: Permanent Residence

Sub-category: Family Class (Spouse)

Application details:
Application Number (received in the email)
Family Name (Family Name as given in the form> of the person being sponsored)

Place of birth:
City/town of birth (leave it blank)
Country/territory of birth (leave it as it is> default line)
Passport: Sponsored person's (P.A.) passport details

Other Application information:
Province: as stated in the original application IMM 0008
City/town/Village: as stated in the original application IMM 0008

Hi everyone,

My application was received on Sept 11 for spousal sponsorship outside of Canada. No AOR yet or any information. Using my (sponsor) UCI and also my husband (PA) UCI, I was able to look up our file using ECAS to see that the application was received. When I have tried to search today on ECAS, it says my file cannot be found. Has anyone else had this experience?

I'm a Sep 11th applicant. No AOR yet

I called them today as well the agent told me the same "currently working on August 29th" but I pushed to check the statues of my application and after a while she came back and said she found my application and the officer didn't finish the completion stage yet so "i got no file number for you yet and must wait for few more days as this is normal". I also asked if they go in order of date received and she said "sometimes they don't depend on the workload the officer who have your application has".

I just received my AOR today Sep 21..its a huge relief since it was return the 1st time for country specific requirement.

Hey there, my situation is slightly different, but may help. We had all of the info on the back of our passport photos but they were slightly out of date. Fortunately, they gave us AOR regardless. I don't know if a missing date is maybe more serious than an out of date photo, but hopefully they don't regard it as the most important element and will maybe request new photos down the line. Sorry I can't be of more help!

From what I have read on other threads for people with photo problems is that, they may ask you to retake your photos and have you resubmit it to them.
