Just checked my wife's email, UCI and application number given asked to link her application within one week. Application sent in Canada September 5 and received September 6, 2017.

When you link your account can you let me know how you have done it? I have tried all 5 times today and got no where, tried everything mentioned in forum threads

I have sent my application and it was received on Sep 6. I called them on Friday, the agent has given me a temporary File no. such as XF000123456
Does anyone have any idea, how long would it take for them to send me the actual file no. in my email?

Below is what worked for me:

• Select the ‘Application number and family name’ option.
• Chose number of applicants as 2 (i.e. the Principal Applicant and the Sponsor)
• Enter the application number allocated by CIC and the family name
• Hit the 'Submit/ Search' button. A validation error occurs
• The validation red arrows indicate what needed to be completed for the application to be linked. In my case I choose Married for marital status, gbosa that was it!!!

Hi everyone, Congrats to guys who got the AOR and All the best who are in queue.
My application was received on Sept 1 but didn't hear anything yet. I see people who submitted on Sept 5th and 6th already got it.
It's making me nervous now if something is wrong.

I doubt it, every case is different some takes a bit longer to process. I would give them a call if I were you & they will let you know if they returned it or not open as yet.
