No complaints but unable to understand the working of IRCC. From April 2017 to Aug 2017 average time to get AOR was approx 2 weeks. In Sep 2017 it jumped to 4 to 6 weeks. Then suddenly in Oct 2017 it is back to less than 2 weeks. This one odd phenomina in Sep is beyond comprehension. Senior members to please comment the possible reasons for this delay in the month of September . Even IP status is taking more than three to four weeks.

The first page of the spreadsheet shows a marked increase for AOR in the summer months, suggesting that vacations play a role in processing times. Also, with the new 3/5 applications, they probably took everyone offline for a day or so of training in September, which would have a similar effect. October rolls around, training is done, no one is on vacation, so the AOR times are back to normal.

That sounds logical. What about IP delays

My wife got AOR tonight (November 6) at 10:15, please update the spreadsheet.

Thanks,

For September I would guess training for the 3/5 applications, otherwise the variations look pretty random and not that significant (maybe March is slower because of spring break and Easter?).

Start to finish it looks like they are averaging less then 6 months, and they are just using the 12-month time to keep people from contacting their MPs too early.

My application returned saying that - my child's application submitted is old.. and asked to resubmit again within 90 days..
I may not be part of this group anymore.. will resubmit.. and probably be part of November group...

Still waiting for AOR

The avg AOR to IP time for September 2017 is the longest since at least Sep 2016 (according to the tracker). It is really hard to explain because even the applications that were delivered before XMas and summer vacation months were moving faster. Seems that the flip-flop of 4/6 and 3/5 rules are stabbing us in the back twice. Sigh...

I noticed that IP to Test Invites seems to be faster lately, hopefully IRCC is just doing more checks in the earlier phase, so maybe the total processing time won't be too badly impacted. But that is only my wishful thinking.

Where can I find the excel spreadsheet that everyone is referring to? Do members have at least read access to it?
