Well, I'm Ottawa and it hasn't started for me yet. I submitted about a week after you so... here is to hoping next week that process starts for us.sweethunkUSman said:Congratulations to the first September applicant with a decision on our spreadsheet, mcharade! wonderful wonderful!
Other Ottawa VO apps, are we all in background check yet? i think we might all get a Christmas present from Ottawa.
Nope mine still says the same thing since Oct 28th. It is actually starting to make me cranky to put it politely.sweethunkUSman said:Congratulations to the first September applicant with a decision on our spreadsheet, mcharade! wonderful wonderful!

That's amazing news, congrats!!!!mcharade said:Yesterday, I received an email confirming my approval and stating that my COPR has been sent. That means it took 4 days from approval for correspondence to be sent out and for the COPR to be printed.
Though that's a bit slow, I have received timely correspondence from CIC during this whole process. It's actually shocking to see so many people on this forum who aren't even getting their SAs reliably. It seems that this all comes down to the individual officer and isn't well mandated by CIC itself.
I hope everyone will be seeing some progress soon. Good luck!
