My ECAS just went to "in process" in PA side ...
anybody have a clue how long in takes "approximately" from this point?
I am glad to see some movement

Mine has been "in process " on PA side since nov. 7th. Nothing has changed. I guess it depends on the visa office your app is at and individual case...

Mine has been in process since October 20th and nothing so far. Definitely depends on your VO when you'll see any movement!

Hi! There are 2 places (3 if you include this forum!!) that I check daily.

The ECAS I found were regarding MY details (sponsor) and the MyCIC were details regarding my husband (principal applicant). The detailed breakdown is found in MyCIC.

I didn't know about this application linking. I tried doing it a few times but can't seem to get it to work though... keeps saying that they can't find my application based on the answers I provided.
Guess I'll just keep checking ECAS and this forum for now.

Hello Fellow September Applicants

After 5 weeks or so myCIC is back again. Status is OPEN, Eligibility is IN PROGRESS, Medicals PASSED, and Background Check is NOT STARTED. Not sure when they did change and hopefully it will get updates going forward.

Somebody not on the forum got PPR for September application other then the one being discussed in NDVO group , so in total 2 people have got PPR in September already.

Thanks Joyce_tosf for your email, I really appreciated it. Like you said in case of technical problems there is not much call centre agents can do and it is frusturating that the only option is to send a technical support email and hope for the best. I have sent many emails and have no idea why it took so long.

I had the same trouble until I started using the UCI number that was mailed to the applicant (not the sponsor) as this linking of application is regarding the applicant details. Are you the sponsor or applicant? I initially kept trying my own sponsor's UCI but it never found the application.. until Nov 14th I decided to use my husband's details and voila!! Hope that helps!

There's a good chance that things will be slowing down now that it's December. Especially at the VOs located in countries that acknowledge Christmas as a national holiday (such as Ottawa). The VOs may also be reaching their quotas for the year too. Hopefully, we can all get through before year's end. Good luck!

Will your partner be coming to Canada as soon as possible? Or will you be waiting a bit longer?

Hmmmm, my wife never received a UCI. We just have the UCI that I got via email saying that I was approved as a sponsor. Did it take a while for your husband to receive that mail? I can see that my wife's application is in progress, so it's nothing huge to worry about. Would just be nice if I could see more details.

Inspired by daphnemaria, I went to check my MyCIC as well. I was also approved and my application is closed! So exciting! Already planning a trip down to the States to pick up my things from my dad's house and then land.

Exciting day for us both Congrats!!!
We are in the States now. Will land when we go up for Christmas then come back and pack up and make our way up. I'm on Mat leave until May so we have time.
