Def a movie.

Wow you're in Nepal?!? What's it like living there, why come to Canada?

Lol most of the people say we should write a book on our love story. it was a very short version of our meeting :P

Many factors but most important once are...

My love and I have 26 years age Gap and we are madly in love and a very happy couple. He has 93 year old mother in Canada and his kids. Mom is moving to nursing home so we want to be there as soon as we can. Earthquake effected Nepal very bad mostly expats emotionally and financially both. We dont want to fight for visa thing to see our indian and Canadian family. It is a big pain when you cant be close to your family.

It breaks my heart when I think about a 93 year old mother when I talk to her on phone and skype that how badly she want us to be there :(

So I really hope we can live our life happily with our love once.

So keep us in prayers for fast and smooth process...

All the best to all of us.

Geesh! where will you live in Canada, it's bound to be quieter on the geological front, except WINTER

I know! My husband is also a hiking guide for the volcano excursions here and he did tell me that it is what he will miss most when we move to Canada. Unfortunately, no active volcanoes in Canada :p .. And I think I have downplayed how horrible winter can be, poor guy he might not survive the first winter in Ottawa.

I'm creeping in here from the August group. :P You guys are so adorbs! Your stories are so beautiful and making me feel not so alone in this world, knowing others are living apart and trying to make their way through this silly process to just be together again. Much love to you all! May everyone's journey through this be smooth and quick. :)

Hi All,

Nice to follow such beautiful love stories from this group.

Let me share ours !

I call it arranged love story because we started at a very hilarious note.
By the way my wife's name is Ehsaas ( as beautiful as her soul).

Our parents wanted us to see eachother and hence we decided to have a facebook chat. Our first chat ended up as no - no from each side giving reasons like time zone differences and I being pestering for a masters and she was ready to settle down , so we said no and hence our chat ended. And we thought our story too.

But there was something between us , We kept on chatting a few times randomly and then slowly became best of buddies , I mean there was nothing that we didnt share with eachother, Slowly we started liking eachother.

But then after a month long I proposed her and tgen she travelled to India and we got married.

I believe in this beautiful theory which say , " You meet the one for you when you least expect it" thats what happened with me .
But its has been the best decision of my life..I miss her so much .

I can't even imagine being apart for so long. I hope you'll get PPR soon! In only a short while you can be together forever.

I honestly don't know how we've made it this long but we're hopeful that this is the last of it!

Checking everyday.. I know we really shouldn't but it's hard not to. No updates yet. :-X

My spouse and I met each other online, ended up meeting in person in Banff about a year ago. Got married in August and now she is 16 weeks pregnant with our first child ;D

Thankfully, I am in Canada already on a student visa now and have an income courtesy of american education benefits for being prior service.

No updates for us yet either! Thanks for sharing your lovely stories everyone

Nothing updated here either. I check daily ::)

Thanks everyone for sharing your stories. Interesting to read how others have met and it has brought us all here to share our progress. I would be going even crazier if it wasn't for this forum and all of you and your helpful questions and answers!

None here too...my last was two weeks ago. Was starting to get worried

Nothing for us either. Last we heard was SA on October 25th and our file got sent to Mexico City VO. I was told by the people in the Mexico thread not to expect AOR2 until at least 6 weeks after SA. Still waiting for the Principal Applicant side to change to In Process though... hopefully this week!

so many babies waiting for their families to be together!

hearing everyone's stories is welcome relief from sterile bureaucracy concerns -- like checking myCIC too often.

Does anyone on here want to be my buddy and hold us accountable to only check once per week? Which day would be best to catch automatic updates do you think?
