I'm glad you got it working! What does your Principal Applicant side say, In Process or Application Received?

Application Received. I'm guessing that means my VO hasn't started working on it yet.

It should be available to you by now.. I've been able to check ECAS since about a week after AOR1. What information are you trying with? I use my own (sponsor)...

The discrepancy between how soon some people can access ECAS baffles me. We weren't able to access it at all until what we assume was about 5-6 days after sponsor approval (still waiting to hear an official date on that, as we haven't received the e-mail as of right now but were told Tuesday that my husband was approved and MyCIC had the telltale signs of SA show up on Monday) but it seemed like other people were able to access it much more quickly.

Email correspondence is also super blotchy.. At least we've received emails (mind you AOR1 got sent to my husband, the applicant, and addressed to me, but ok!) but I couldn't imagine not receiving anything and relying on online tools that get updated randomly it seems. I wonder if it depends on the particular officer who looks at your case? You know, if he or she does a bunch of SAs for example, then updates as a batch, or if he or she updates each one individually...? Who knows..

That's the working theory my husband and I have, that whoever looked at ours must do things in that manner (or something similar). I also received the AOR1 e-mail, which should have gone to my sponsor. I also had weirdness with linking to MyCIC, and had to use 1 for the number of people on the application even though I have a child who will be accompanying. I guess it's just part of the adventure.

VO is Ankara and the sponsored is Turkish citizen.

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone else is having no luck signing into ECAS. I received SA about 2 weeks ago, and myCIC is working fine. Just cant access ECAS still. Anyone else? My VO is accra btw. Thanks.

I applied on sept 26 and never received an email for AOR so last week I called and over the phone and was told I have SA! now like many of you I'm having trouble linking my application to follow the process. I've been locked out the last 3 days (had 5 wrong attempts). In a few hours I can try again. Thanks to everyone for posted exactly how you filled in how to link! I went through each message in the forum and am hoping that today it's going to work for me, based on what you've shared. When I know my timeline I'll put it on the spreadsheet. Really happy to connect with you all here for info and support!!

Have you tried 1 for the number of applicants? The stuff in the spreadsheet didn't really help me either. I got mine putting all the correct info (including city of birth) with the problem being the number of applicants. Someone in another thread mentioned trying 1 and that was what worked for me.

Even though it took days of attempts, it would have taken much longer if I hadn't read through the tips here. Cheers for those group! I think a particularly important tip is just putting a space in the city option. Many other good tips too.

It should say "Review in Process" because the status showing is for the PA, not the sponsor.

For AOR1, we got an e-mail early on the 22nd but I noticed my file number in MyCIC went from XF to F on the 21st, so that's the date I used for that. For SA, I don't have a date yet because we still haven't received the e-mail, and the person on the phone didn't give us a specific date. Once we get the e-mail, I'll be updating that. We know we have it, I just don't want to put an inaccurate date.
