I am going with April! Hubby's lease is up, and the snow should be gone, hopefully. If it takes longer, so be it. Alls I want is to be able to wake up with my husband and know that it is permanent and not just a short visit. We had a quick visit here in September and I will be going South for Xmas.

How many in here are actually living with their spouses while we all patiently wait for PR?

I am lucky enough to be living with hubby down here in Guatemala. I don't know how you guys do it, being apart for so long. You are much stronger than me!

Not easy at all! I just bought a house, have an awesome job and a 14 year old that I would have to leave, so we are apart. There is a lot of skyping and a lot of phone calls to keep us sane, but it is never easy. I go visit every 3-4 months so it helps a bit. We just keep reminding ourselves that this is temporary and we are moving in the right direction. I know there will be a few more bumps along the way, but eventually we will get to spend the rest of our lives with each other.

It's so hard! Especially since we got married 18months ago n have a 3 month old son. If I had know canadian citizens can be away from Canada during the sponsorship process, I would ha stayed back.... being apart is the hardest thing....

Does the PR side in ECAS say Application Received, or In Process? ... I think that is what I would take as an AOR2, in lieu of actual email.

Hey! I checked ECAS yesterday and my husbands (person being sponsored) says his application is being processed as of Oct. 28, so I assume that's my AOR2 despite not having received an actual email.

Yep that's what I would think too!

Yes CaroM8 . The PR side says in process. it has changed from application recieved. My application has been transfered and I read that some visa offices don't send out AOR2. So I'm taking any form of progress I can get. LOl

Received my AOR2 :)
