I received an email regarding SA today, it got approved and the file got forwarded to New Delhi. But on MyCIC it says 'review in progress" for eligibility. isn't it supposed to be saying passed?

I thought this eligibility is specifically for the PA, and will stay in progress for the majority of the time it's being processed.

Hi Guys,

I posted this in the August thread as I haven't seen the September one until now.

Using my friend's account. Hopefully I have the same luck as she does as her husband is currently in Canada living with her.

My application was received on September 16th at CIC. I got my AOR1 on October 13th and the file transfer on October 24th. Meds were done up front.

Now we're just patiently waiting. We're going through VIENNA. My husband is in Bosnia and I'm in Canada.

Also, question about MyCIC. Do I put his information in or mine? I tried a few times already and it didn't work. I can log into the other Application status website fine, but not MyCIC.

Welcome! You add your info in our spreadsheet if you want!
As for MyCIC, it can be kinda tricky... Try with a few different combination of info.
Good luck on your app :)

Hi, try the instructions under the tab "Linking to myCIC" on the spreadsheet in my signature. Those instructions are gold. Just finally linked my application! Yay! Only, I have SA but myCIC shows eligibility still in process. myCIC seems less in real time than I was lead to believe...all well now that I'm linked time to relax.

Congrats to all September folks we are almost all past the first few hurdles.

I just tried linking to MyCIC and it says that I have a representative. Which is true. So I guess I can't see anything there. I do want to keep the representative for now. I'm just sad I won't be able to see more of the application process.

I do have another question. After we get our SA, what's the next step? Waiting for the AOR2? My application is going to Vienna, so I have no clue what to wait for now.

According to research done by the NDVO outland applicants on this forum, eligibility refers to the genuineness of the relationship, so I agree with you danawhitaker, probably until our relationship evidence has been reviewed it will stay that way. See the "Stages of review" tab I added on our sept spreadsheet...

Look at the tab "Stages of review" on our sept spreadsheet. It will tell you what to expect. You may or may not get an AOR2 from your VO. You may or may not get requests for more documentation, but maybe not since you used a representative. Probably you have a quiet wait ahead of you. Keep close tabs on other apps on our spreadsheet and the august spreadsheet that are in Vienna, then you will know when it's been too long since you heard anything! much luck

Sounds like ;)
I have representative So I cant create an account. I am happy to see ECAS at least.
Lets stay together and keep sharing progress :)

Second line updated in "Permanent Residence Application Status" in ECAS as "Medical results have been received."

FYI:
ECAS is in two parts : "Sponsorship Application Status" and "Permanent Residence Application Status".
"In Process" is the status under first and "Application Received" is the status under the latter.
When you click on each status, it shows progress/timeline for sponsor and sponsored person respectively.

P.S. It may sound silly but these little updates mean a lot to some! :P ;D

Just checking again if anyone can enlighten me! TIA

Hello Everyone! I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what date CIC uses as the official date of medical done. I have 3 possibilities. The day my husband went for the medical, the day my husband completed all the tests and got the ok from the doctor or the day the doctor sent the e-medical information sheet? Just to be sure i have the correct date listed for medical done.

Thanks!! ;D
