My ECAS has changed to "in process" for the permanent residence side and I have a second line saying my medical results were received. Seems like Ottawa is working on applications steadily.

My ECAS PR side moved to "in process". i don't remember though what was the previous status. May be "Application received"? one strange thing being neither cic nor ecas has any updates on medical although we submitted upfront with UMI certificate. One reason could be that my spouse had medical done beginning of the year for a different CIC application to NDVO and we just sent the same certificate. They might ask for a new one next year (hope not)...

Oct 25, Sponsor approved! File sent to Ottawa! CIC and ECAS haven't been updated for me but the CIC lady informed me of my status. Still no email contact but called and they didn't enter my email address into our file, but I know for a fact I included so my AOR and SA has all been snail mailed. Just waiting for the instructions on how to add it to my file, not sure why the CIC lady couldn't but its all good. We are on our way to the longer waiting period.

Mine hasn't changed either. I had to call because I hadn't received an AOR email and they told me I had SA and our file was sent to Ottawa already. Not sure how often it is updated or how efficiently it is updated as some get updated and others don't. We sent the medical in with the application as well.

It means there was a Decision Made on wether or not you got accepted as a sponsor. And you were

On ECAS I see that both Sponsorship Application Status and Permanent Residence Application Status are In Process.
I was under that impression that Permanent Residence Application Status would change to In process only after receiving SA. Isn't that correct?

Hi natrocha, if it is past the current number of days listed for sponsorship decision at Missassauga, I would call them and ask!
