So I had my application returned stating that Form IMM5406 was incomplete - the problem was that i failed to write 'not applicable' under children. I corrected this and resent on the 26th September and it was received again on 27th September. I was also just able to link my application online which is a huge relief for me. Lets hope things get processed quickly

How long ago did you submit yours first time? Does it get returned around the same time AOR should be coming or does it take longer?

My application was received on the 6th and I was able to link it to my account yesterday, and the application number starts with XF.....

The fact that I was able to link the app and have a temporary app number means that the package will NOT BE RETURNED?

I was a bit freaked out because I thought the application had some missing documents. What do you guys think?

No, I didn't get anything yet, just linked my application online.

The same way other people in this thread did it.


I only put in my (the principal applicant's) last name, given name (both first and middle as that's how I listed it on the app) and date of birth. Then my hometown and selected the country I'm a citizen of. Then I skipped the passport info and filled in where I planned to live in Canada (which I also put on the application). I selected 1 for the number of people included in the application as I have no dependents. (I heard some people need to put 2 for this even if they have no dependents though). That's all, then a message appeared saying that they found an application with my information, and I linked it to my gckey account.

I did the same. My application was received on Sept 7 and I was able to link my application on Sept 12 but no AOR yet.

in our case, i was able to link our app yesterday and just today we got AOR. i guess AOR soon for u.
but i noticed our application number start with Fxxxx , any idea guys ?
