--- nothing is impossible but haven't booked my husband's flight yet, but i am still hopeful... PDOS only takes 2hrs of seminar... we just need to do the R&R right away after he picks his passport up ... it would be wonderful if we would be reunited with our loved ones by Canada day my husband's medical will expire on the 1st wk of July...

Any update on your papers?

Doubtful that you will make June 6th. Expect it to take several weeks (up to three months) before you get the passport
back. Also don't forget there is still the PDOS and (unless you are both Filipino) the married to a foreigner certificate.

Target flight date for my wife is June 30th - that will get her to Canada just in time for Canada Day. ;D

We just got our passport request! I should be jumping for joy!

Did I miss somewhere that he needs 12 months validity in his passport? I don't know how to deal with this when he is not in his home country.

Got PPR today. So excited . No re medical required. Rushing to get all documents sent by Monday. Hopefully we can be together here for our anniversary in July.

My wife has booked off her vacation time June 15th to June 30th (with June 30th also being her last day) so she will only be at work
for a week and then will fly (from Cebu) to Manila and Cauayan to have farewell visit with her family. Lord willing she will get a text msg.
from VAC while visiting her family that her visa is waiting for her in Cebu. It turns out the VAC is right across the street from her office!

just do it ihad forgotten to do it, and had to drive back to DHL offices to include the request. hahaha. luckily it was just 10mins after i had left their office

I received my GMCS notes last week, under the section of Eligibility it says: Review Required.
Then near the last pages where it has the Notes the most recent note under text just says Interview Required and nothing else.
They worked on the file April 7 - 12. Has anyone ever noticed this ? Does anyone know if this means that there will be an interview for sure ?

Another question would or has anyone sent in updated information - I did not send honeymoon information after I submitted in September, should I send this in? We had our honeymoon in October, 2 months after the wedding.
