Can any one clarify my situation. My wife is sponsoring me. She was PR when she applied for me but this she got her citizenship. My application was submitted Sep 2015. My medical has been expired this April. I did my medical April 2015 but that time my wife lost her job so my application was submitted in Sep 2015. My visa office is Singapore. I got my AOR1, AOR2 and SA. My SA and PR both ecas status shows "in process" since December 2015. The last e-mail i received from SVO was my AOR2. since no response. Many of September applicants are getting their PPR. I'm confused now.. Can't miss my wife anymore... want to be with her and start our life together.... Can anyone please clarify my situation. Any response is hugely appriciated. Thanks in advance....

You lost me. What exactly are you asking for? The VO will request a new medical exam unless you get an extension on it. There is still some of us from september waiting and that's just the people from this site, not counting the ones outside this site.

Hi,

I got PR under FSW 2014 program. I did a short landing in Toronto and went back to my home country India. Then I got married in India. Now My company transferred me to Montreal and I am already in Montreal. Now I need to apply for my spouse. I am confused, If I need to fill my spouse application by following Quebec province immigration rules. I want to move to Toronto in future but not sure when will I get an opportunity.
Do I need to get CSQ?

Please help me on this.

It's normal for Ecas to still show in process for both the sponsor and the sponsored person. As you got the SA, the sponsor means that has been approved, but they rarely update the ECAS for that. I have been landed for almost 3 months now, and still on my ecas shows sponsorship application status in process. If your visa have already approved your medical examination, they will extend it for your. If they still didn't go through it they will probably ask you to take it again. Having received your AOR2 means that they received your application. Though it doesn't mean that they started processing it yet. If you want to see what's going on with your application you can order your GCMS http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

I know it's a very painful and stressful process, but you can only be patient and positive that it will be over soon. Best of luck

--- nothing is impossible but haven't booked my husband's flight yet, but i am still hopeful... PDOS only takes 2hrs of seminar... we just need to do the R&R right away after he picks his passport up ... it would be wonderful if we would be reunited with our loved ones by Canada day my husband's medical will expire on the 1st wk of July...

If your husbands gets approved and receives his COPR, his medical will be extended for 6 months since the COPR. This is how long is valid the COPR and he needs to get landed during those 6 months. Good luck

I believe that yes you need to get CSQ to sponsor your wife. You have to follow the Quebec province immigration rules, as you are living there now, and you think that by the time your wife will get approved you would still be in Montreal. Best of luck

- hi Stephcy, good to know that... But, our plan is when he gets his passport back, we'll book his flight right away because we both can't wait to be together again... it's been 2weeks now since my husband submitted his PP to ManilaVO... hoping that he'll get his passport back this week... cheers!
