I got landed yesterday I'm officially a Canadian Permanent Resident now
The PR card will be mailed to me in a month - month and a half! now I have my COPR stapled onto my passport They told me know I can apply for SIN number and OHIP I can't believe that this is actually happening

That's good news , once they ask for Right of Residence Fees you are very close .

I remember we got our ARO2 1 week after yours , so I hope we are close too . ( we paid the Fees Upfront )

Oh wauw that's awesome.congrats. Your very close.. I am a August applicant and I haven't got that request yet.. Hopefully this coming week.. What date in September was your app received by CIC..? Does both applicant and sponsor receives the email or just the applicant?

hi where is your Visa office is it in Manila? the last time I receive an email was on december 01 (AOR2) from then i haven't receive any update from VO manila.I'm September 18 applicant. Can you share also your timeline thank you

It's been two months now since the Manila office requested a couple of documents - which we of course promptly sent
them. Is there any way to check with CIC on the status of my wife's application? Any way to follow-up with CIC?

Your welcome expectin.. Oh ok cool mine was received on August 26. Yeah that's just how it went.. It's like we 3 are all in a little bundle together when one of us get movement the other does lol.. Yeppers that's the best way stay positive.. Who receives the email to pay the fee, the applicant or sponsor?

It's been 19 months I was here as a visitor so it seems unreal to me that now I can actually look for a job and have health care and just have rights in Canada Good luck to you guys! Yeah DR, nope they haven't update it, usually take a few days, we are excited
