Looks like everyone in September has at least SA except "US2CanadaEh" ... Anyone know US2CanadaEh?

Don't know them but hopefully they've just not updated as that would be a very long wait to still not have SA :o I see that their medical is at 480 days so I imagine that could have to be redone, bummer!

I had read somewhere that medicals are good for 1 year. Ouch you are right. I hope they just forgot to update.

Yes that is right the medicals are good for one year, but I always assumed that the clock started ticking from the day they are done at the docs? I don't know why I thought that?. Hopefully it means when CIC receive's them that the clock starts on the one year countdown, that would be better news for a lot of people for sure! 8)

EDIT: I was right to assume the year time frame started from the med exam date it would appear.. Here's a link to a discussion, see post#11: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/advice-needed-usa-to-canada-t263704.0.html

That's a bummer for our Sept Outland member who's time since meds say 481 days now unfortunately :(

Hello everyone,

I applied on September 10th through the Accra Ghana office.

Today we got the email that my wife's visa is ready!! so happy. Wishing you all a speedy process :)

Btw it went to in process this morning and a few mins later we got the email.

Congratulations MoH1979! What great news this today! Safe travels :)

Awesome good news MoH1979, congratulations! :) ;) :D ;D 8)

Congratulations MoH1979. You are so lucky

Thank you all..it took 7 months from start to PPR. Not too bad although I'm not as lucky as other people who were done in 4-6 months.

Either way I'm very thankful. Wishing you all the best especially the Ottawa applicants.

Congrats so happy for you! Thank you for the well wishes! :) We are praying more Sept folk start seeing this :)

We got a request to send:
-a scanned copy of all passport pages
-proof of the sponsor's intent to return to Canada

I've been working on my CV, and was planning on sending out job applications today and this week-end. I purchased my plane ticket last week, although I purchased a return ticket because a) it was WAY WAY cheaper than a one way (like 1/3 to a 1/4 of the price) and b) we hadn't heard anything from them, so I figured I could come back for a visit if there was still nothing.

When a visa office requests scans of passport pages it is basically a decision made. I say basically because Warsaw may do it differently, either way you are nearing the end, congrats!

Warsaw seems to request all the passport pages, then about a month later, they request that the actual passport be sent to Moscow (for those who require visas).

Anyway, here is what I'll be sending:
-Health insurance quotes, for myself and my spouse, since neither of us will be covered for our first bit there
-I'll be contacting some doctors in the city for follow-up treatments of a health problem I'm currently dealing with here.
-A letter from my current employer, stating that my contract ends at the end of May, and that I will be leaving the country at the beginning of June. It will also state that I have not signed nor been offered a new contract.
-My plane tickets
-Several job applications/confirmation letters, that they have received my application
-Receipts from the currency exchange office, showing that I've exchanged most of my money into Canadian dollars

I hope that's enough for them. :o

*******Hello Everyone,

I finally got a response back via email that my FBI clearance was located in my file. I can't believe it! I finally got an answer! Anyways, they also added this :

"Your application is being processed as per our regulatory timeline.

Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.

We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application."

OK SO FIRST QUESTION: Does FBI checks expire?
My medicals were done in August, SHOULD I go ahead and schedule for new ones?
