Hello,

They gave a number of options for how to submit the passport. Some were specific to Algeria and Tunisia and some were for other countries done through the Paris VO. He could mail it and wait for them to mail it back. He could go to the VO in Paris and pick it up 5 business days later. It was fastest for him to go directly to the visa office in Tunisia. The last option was if he was already a resident of Canada and would be here for 3 months, then he could submit to CPC Ottawa. I don't know if there are different options for Delhi than for Paris.

I hope that is helpful. I wonder how different each VO is or whether there are standard things for each that they just list in the PPR letter...

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thank you Kassine !

Hello

I have a question who got passport request. When you guys recieved PPR, did the office notified you an expiry date of landing?
I wonder if the document I recieved is final paper for landing.
on my letter
Your Confirmation of Permanent Residence Form(s) to Canada is/are ready to be issued, conditional to a final admissibility review by an immigration officer.

Your COPR FORM(S) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until mm/dd/yy.

then it says in order to complete the process, I need to send passport (scanned) which is I sent out on same day.

Any passport requests from September?

I just ordered another set of GCMS notes..hopefully they will show more information this time.

I hope this week brings a few passport requests for us september people.

At what point did you request your first set and was it helpful? Did you request notes for the sponsor or the principal applicant?

I ordered at the end of November and received it on Dec 23rd.

It was helpful, I could see due dates for certain steps (criminality and background checks). You see any comments that the officer makes on your application. They mention if they received all the money, if they received your medical, when the file was sent, and what's the status now.

It's quite helpful.

I'm the sponsor and I order on my wife's behalf but she had to sign a consent form.

Hello Mariac what does the abr AOR stand for? We filed app and Sept was marked received then SA Nov 5. The wait times for Ottawa says 16 months is this true? I am currently in Canada and can't work until PR status. I might have to go back to the states as my visitor status expires march 31

You can extend your visitor visa online, they'll renew it for a year if approved; they did for me.

When you get COPR is it by mail? And when you land does your spouse have to be with you. My husband is military and going on a deployment

Your COPR will arrive in the mail. And please do not double post, you asked the question about your spouse being there when you land on another thread.
