just to find out that NOW Inlanders are receiving OWP with AOR :-\ !! I give up!! lol

this has yet to be proven true. this is a policy that "may" be put into place. there is no date set yet, nor any official word from CIC this is actually going to happen, how it will happen and when. guarantee, outland is STILL going to be faster than inland. just relax, enjoy the holidays, and forget about your application for now. as long as it's complete, it's out of your hands.

You know, you would be correct, if everything is perfect in this world. But they admitted that they never opened it on Sept 26, therefore my beginning starts on Nov 19. Therefore, I can expect it only in the middle of January. Tough...

I think it's important to consider what your "bring forward date" was on the request for the updated form. CIC doesn't always consider the date they received the updated form as the date they received it. sometimes they consider the DUE date listed on the request as the date it was received, which is commonly 30, 45 or 60 days. so it may not be they just ignored it since sept 26, it could be it was put in a batch based on the due date given in the request.

Just got off the phone with good ol' CIC, I was told that because I had to send in more information my application processing time starts over. Therefore I would be considered a November 18th Applicant! LMFAO!! DAMMUT... I am staying in the September thread :P

The guy I spoke to said I should have a decision by January 12th. :-X

I am so use to waiting though, we started this process in March of this year, first Inland now Outland; just to find out that NOW Inlanders are receiving OWP with AOR :-\ !! I give up!! lol

Oh that sucks :-( im sorry! I was wondering bc I had not seen an update on the spread sheet for you.

Just laying low for now, unless I can help with someone's question. Otherwise, staying off the grid for a bit.

I didnt realize that was the case! Our application package was sent back in November, because CIC wanted the updated August 2014 form. So we sent the application back promptly, along with the updated form. Does that mean our application will be considered a November applicant too?

Great news! Please update the September spreadsheet with the date you got the PPR.

My laptop broke and I am trying to update the spreadsheet from work. Wasn't able to change color, if someone can do it I would appreciate it.
We received e-mail this morning, visa is issued and will be picked up by UPS on Monday, Dec. 22nd. It should be delivered on Wednesday.

That is pretty cool!.. congrats! What a beautiful holiday gift.

Thank you both! Still can't believe our luck! My partner applied for visitor visa extension on October 8 and still waiting to hear from them. He mailed it to buy some time while waiting for PR. Next week he will go to US to land. Will anyone question his status? Does he really need to enter US ?

He is on implied status in Canada so no worries there; just carry proof that you applied for an extension just in case but I highly doubt they will ask; you can ask to be "refused" entry into the U.S.; no stamps, no records whatsoever, it's a very standard practice that US folks are used to given the number of people that flagpole to land in Canada; they will then allow you to make a U turn back onto the Canadian side and then you can land!hope this helps!

That's great! Thanks a lot

Hi princessofmylife, Congrats
